ผมตำรวจเมกา(ตัวปลอมของแท้) ขอตอบแทนได้ไหมครับ เทาที่พี่ตำรวจเมกาเล่าให้ฟัง แต่ละรัฐก็จะมีการกำหนดขนาดคาลิเบอร์ที่แตกต่างกันไป ยกตัวอย่างตำรวจดัลลัดและตำรวจเดนตัน นิยมใช้ปืนกล็อกฯ กระสุนต้องขนาด10มอมอ ทั้งปืนสำรองและปืนหลักเป็นกล็อกฯครับ กระบอกที่ได้ลองยิงท่ามกลางอุณหภูมิติดลบนั้น ก็เป็นกล็อก27ครับผม(ปืนสำรอง) เป็นกฎข้อบังคับของตำรวจดัลลัดและเดนตันเลยว่าเจ้าหน้าที่ต้องใช้ปืนที่ได้รับการแจกจ่ายจากหน่วยงานเท่านั้น ดังนั้นผมจึงเข้าใจเวลาเห็นตำรวจพี่กันที่นี้ ใชปืนพกรุ่นเดียวกันหมด

You know, the whole set of gun & equipments, ie radio, handcuffs.., on the belt of one policeman/woman in the States may cost up to $2000. That why they try to use the same gun/equipments as it is Department Issued and Bought krub
In Thailand, most of the cops buy their own GUN/Radio and what nots with their own $$$. A gun = B30-40,000, a radio =B20,000 and if one is a Sergent, he/she may make B8,000/Month...that's a lot of $$ to pay for those equipment na krub. So anything Affordable.. Some Police Departments will allow personal guns to be used on Duty too but they allow only certain type/caliber and qualification of the users too krub
In New Hampshire at least many years ago, some Police Departments allow 1911 in .45 on duty too, provided that an officer can and are qualified to use it properly and safely. Most of the cops have a backup gun, be it a PPK, BABY Glock, Kahr or S&W Chief/Colt Revolver.
