กองทัพเรือเตรียมจะส่งเรือรบเข้าปราบปรามโจรสลัดโซมาเลีย โดยที่แหล่งข่าวของกองทัพเรือแถลงการณ์ว่า ได้เตรียมชุดเรือเฉพาะกิจเพื่อไปปฎิบัติการรักษาความสงบในบริเวณน่านน้ำโซมาเลียร่วมกับกองทัพเรือต่างประเทศ โดยเรือที่กองทัพเรือจะจัดไปนั้น คาดว่าจะเป็นเรือ OPV ชุดปัตตานี และ เรือส่งกำลังบำรุง คือ เรือหลวงสิมิลัน โดยคาดว่างบประมาณในการส่งเรือรบเข้าปฏิบัติการร่วมครั้งนี้น่าจะได้รับงบประมาณสองร้อยล้านบาท ซึ่งเพียงพอต่อการปฏิบัติการในน่านน้ำโซมาเลียเป็นระยะเวลารวมสองเดือน แต่ถึงอย่างไรก็ตามก็ต้องรอการอนุมัติงบประมาณครั้งสุดท้ายจากครม อีกครั้งหนึ่ง(กรรม แม่ง ที่งบรถเมลล์NGV4พันคันอะไรนั้น สามารถซื้อ F-15SG ตัวเดียวกันกับของสิงคโปร์ได้เป็นฝูง ขอโทษที่ใช้ภาษาผรุสวาท ผมรู้สึกอย่างนั้นจริงๆ)
โดยในส่วนของชุดปฏิบัติการพิเศษและรวมถึงเฮลิคอปเตอร์ ซึ่งคาดว่าจะเป็น Bell 212 หรือ Bell 214 ร่วมกับ ฮ. super lynx จะเดินทางไปกับกองเรือเฉพาะกิจ ซึ่งการเข้าร่วมปฏิบัติการณ์ในครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นโอกาสอันดีสำหรับของกองทัพเรือและบุคคลากรของกองทัพเรือ ที่จะได้นำการฝึกไปใช้งานจริงๆในน่านน้ำโซมาเลีย ซึ่งกองเรือรบจากหลายๆประเทศได้ทำการตรวจตราน้ำน่านบริเวณนี้มา นับตั้งแต่เกิดเหตุการณ์ปล้นจี้ของโจรสลัดขึ้นเมื่อหลายๆปีที่ผ่านมา
..ผมกลัวแต่ ฮ. super lynx ของเรา จะโดน RPG ของไอ้ก้าง สอยโรเตอร์หางเข้าให้เหมือนในหนังเรื่อง Blackhawk Down ยิ่งมีประจำอยู่แค่สองลำเอง พระคุ้มครอง จนท และอุปกรณ์ในการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ครับ..

เครื่องบิน U-2  เป็นเครื่อง ร่อนติดเครื่องยนต์ มากกว่า เครื่องบิน ครับ ถ้า เครื่องดับ ยัง ร่อนได้อีกหลายสิบ กิโล กว่าจะลงพื้น ไม่เหมือนกับเครื่องบิน เจ็ท อื่น ตรงที่ ความยาวปีกของ U-2 มากกว่า ความยาวลำตัวเครื่องบิน เวลา ร่อนลง หากมีลมขวาง รันเวย์ เครื่องบินจะเสียความควบคุม อาจหลุดรันเวย์ ง่าย ๆ อย่างในภาพ นักบิน พยามร่อนลงถึง 2 ครั้ง ครั้งแรก ไม่สำเร็จ ครั้งหลัง เสียการควบคุม ถึงถลาออกนอกรันเวย์

F-16 ของกองทัพอากาศไทยเข้าร่วมการฝึก Pitch Black 2010 ณ ฐานทัพอากาศดาร์วิน ประเทศออสเตรเลีย โดยการฝึกจะดำเนินไปตั้งแต่วันที่ 16 ก.ค. จนถึง 6 ส.ค. ซึ่งในปีนี้กองทัพอากาศส่งเครื่องบินขับไล่แบบ F-16 จำนวน 6 ลำเข้าร่วมการฝึก รวมถึงส่งเครื่องบินลำเลียงแบบ A310-300 และ C-130H อีก 3 ลำสนับสนุนการวางกำลังและการถอนกำลัง
นอกจากกองทัพอากาศไทยและกองทัพอากาศออสเตรเลียที่เป็นเจ้าภาพแล้ว ยังมีกองทัพอากาศนิวซีแลนด์และกองทัพอากาศสิงคโปร์เข้าร่วมฝึกอีกด้วย

Exercise Pitch Black 10 (PB10) is a three week multi-national air combat exercise, to be conducted in Northern Australia over the period 16 Jul – 6 Aug 10.

PB10 will be the largest RAAF Field Training Exercise for 2010 and will involve a combination of day and night flying from RAAF bases at Darwin (DAR) and Tindal (TDL).

Aircraft Arrive at RAAF Base Darwin for Pitch Black

Exercise Pitch Black 2010 is the Royal Australian Air Force’s largest and most complex Air Exercise with participation by Australian Defence Force and international personnel.

The exercise will involve participants from the Australian Army and elements of the Singapore, New Zealand and Thailand air forces that will participate in the tasking, planning and execution of Offensive Counter Air (OCA) and Offensive Air Support (OAS) operations in a coalition environment.

Over 1500 personnel and up to 60 aircraft will support the exercise, with ground crews and aircrews operating some of the most sophisticated military systems employed in the world.

Australia’s F-111, F/A-18 ‘Classic’ Hornet, Hawk and PC-9/A aircraft will battle it out as ‘blue’ force challenges ‘red’ force. Thailand and Singaporean F-16s along with Singapore’s E-2C Hawkeye and KC-135 aircraft will also participate in the exercise.

The exercise will have two areas of operation: 'Blueland' located at RAAF Base Darwin and 'Redland' operating from RAAF Base Tindal.
2010 marks the final year the F-111s will take part in the exercise before they are decommissioned from service later this year.

Participating personnel see the exercise as an opportunity for goodwill and cooperation, whilst at the same time demonstrating their capacity to operate effectively in an international environment.

..วัตถุที่อยู่ถัดจากปลายปีกของ F-16ADF ตัวนี้ ใช่เป้าลาก(Drone)หรือเปล่า (ไม่รู้ภาษาอังกฤษผมถูกไหม พอดียังไม่จบ ดร เหมือนท่านเฉลิม ณ บางบอน ครับ อิอิ)เห็นใจ ทอ เรา ที่ไม่มีเครื่องบินเติมเชื้อเพลิงกลางอากาศ(Tanker) เราไปฝึกไกลๆแบบนี้ต้องอาศัยสิงคโปร์แน่นอน(เพราะเขาไปฝึกด้วย) เห็นคร่าก่อน เราขอใช้เครื่องเติมเชื้อเพลิงกลางอากาศของสเปน ผมว่าเอาเจ้าแอร์ฟอร์ชวันของเจ้ามูลเมืองเครื่องนั้น ไปดัดแปลงไปแทงเกอร์เถอะครับ ท่าน ผบ ทอ..เห็นภาพนี้แล้วตลก ทำให้นึกถึงงานวันเด็กที่ตัวเองเคยเบียดเด็กๆเข้าไปหลบแดดใต้ปีกเจ้าม้าป่าOV-10 Bronco อิอิ หุหุ..
