ถ้าไม่มีสงคราม  แล้วประเทศที่ผลิตอาวุธสงครามจะขายอาวุธให้ใครครับ  เมื่อขายอาวุธไม่ได้ก็ไม่มีเงินเข้าประเทศครับ

ฮิตเลอร์ มีพ่อเป็นยิว แต่พ่อได้ทิ้งเขาและแม่ไปตั้งแต่ฮิตเลอร์ยังเด็ก (ไม่ทราบว่าถูกรึเปล่า)

The conflict has started since the biblical world, with both claiming that the holy land of Jerusalem belongs to them:

1. The Palestinians (with the backing from fellow Arab countries) claim they were invaded by the Jews and driven away from their homes in 1947 (I think) following the passing of the UN Resolution that gave the Jews the claim to the holy land.

2. The Jews (Israeli in modern day) claim they did not drive the Palestinians away. Instead they bought the land from the Palestinians with the money they had made before moving to Israel from Europe. While there are evidences that this is true, the most likely scenario probably is that some Palestinians sold their properties and some were forcefully removed. Nevertheless, the Jews claim that even before the Palestinians settled on these land, the Jews had been occupying the land which Moses had earned for them in the blibical time.  

So the conflict is defined by both parties' strong belief that they have the genuine and legitimate rights to the land.

The violence we see on a daily basis is caused by the dynamics of the conflict:

1. On one side is the Jews whose main supporter is the United States. The US government and its people (many of whom are Jews) felt guity for not working hard enough to prevent the genocide from happenning during Hitler's time. So the US built a holocuast musuem in the middle of Washington D.C. to remind its people of the atrocities that took place. The US and United Kingdom worked to pass the 1947 UN Resolution that gave the modern day legitimacy to Israel's claim over the rights to exist on its land.  And today, the help Israel gets from the US comes in the form of weaponry; tanks, helocopters, aircrafts, guns, missiles, and even nuclear bomb. The transfer of weaponry and technologies has helped Israel defend itself. It has also helped turn Israel's defense companies into a big, global supplier and exporter of weapons. This is why on television, you see Israel bombarding the Palestinians with loads of advanced weapon systems.  

2. On the other side are the Palestinians, whose main supporters are fellow Arab countries who admittedly were less powerful than the US and the Brits. Yesser Arafat, the late leader of the PLO (which is considered less militant and more diplomatic than Hamas), understood the benefit of being the weak one. During his life, he used the perceived weakness of the Palestinians to his people's advantage by trying to tell the world that the Israelis are blood-thirsty bullies. It has worked. Today, many people feel sorry for the Palestinians for being bombarded and killed unselectively.

The truth of the matter, however, is that both sides have experienced their fair shares of damages and losses, be it physical, mental, or emotional.
Is Israel dropping bombs on apartment complex in the Gaza Strip any worse than a Palestinian suicide bomber that walks into a random restauarnt and detonate his bomb without personally knowing the people that he kills? Innocent people on both sides are being killed, period.

Assigning blames on each other and arguing about who has been more of a victime is getting us nowhere.
The way out out this mess is both parties' recognition that they need to co-exist. Forget historical claims to the land. Forget who has lost more than whom. Focus on the future of how to share the land. But understandably so, it is difficult to come to terms with having to co-exist with the very people your great grandfather, your grandfater, your father, your monther, your sister, your brother, your teacher, and your self absolutely hate and have been fighting with for all you remember.
