Why is there no sound when I play a DTS DVD?
Answer
Your player transfers the DTS bit stream though coaxial or HDMI output. Use a coaxial cable or HDMI cable to connect the audio from your player to a multi-channel receiver or HDMI receiver.
To set up sound for a multichannel receiver connected through a coaxial cable:
1.Press SETUP on the player’s remote control. The system setup menu appears.
2.Select [Audio Setup Page] > [Digital Audio Setup].
3.Select [Digital Output], then press .
4.Select [All] and press OK.
5.Select [HDMI Audio Setup], then press .
6.Select [OFF] and press OK.
To set up sound for an HDMI receiver connected through an HDMI cable:
1.Press SETUP on the player’s remote control. The system setup menu appears.
2.Select [Audio Setup Page] > [Digital Audio Setup].
3.Select [HDMI Audio Setup], then press .
4.Select [ON] and press OK.
